Hey all,

23 years old and from Denmark. University student. Like some of the other people here I first got introduced to Mark Mulcahy through the wonderful Pete & Pete and I am now a fan of Miracle Legion and Mark's solo work. My favorite ML album is "Me And Mr. Ray" and out of Mark's albums I like "In Pursuit Of Your Happiness" the best -- I like the other records too, of course! Anyway, glad to be 'round.

Glad to have you here. I think we're at the point now where we're waiting for "what's next," especially on the USA West Coast, where Mark rarely plays. I agree with you on "Me and Mr. Ray," one of my most treasured possessions.

My name is Matt Novak. I'm 20 and I live in Lansing, Illinois; a south suburb of Chicago. I got into Mark from growing up watching Pete and Pete. His songs make me feel like a ten-year old in autumn again and it's the greatest feeling ever. It's needed a lot nowadays. I also play and write my own music and record in my basement.

I wish MM would come to Illinois eventually. I may just go out to Connecticut one of these days for a show.

I really love the boards, sorry if I'm clueless about a lot of the questions I ask.

Is this forum dead? It's too bad. Sad Mark Mulcahy is so under-appreciated, and I'd love to chat with some fans. Anyway, if anyone's logging in to check these forums still, I'm a 22 year old from Pittsburgh. I'm a big fan of all of Mark's work. So sincere and beautiful. Not enough music in the past couple years has been this heartfelt. Indie music needs a return to the wonderful troubled singer-songwriters that carried me through my rocky adolescence.

What a coincidence, I'm also 22(as of two weeks ago) and I agree with everything you said about Marks music. I'm lucky enough to have a good friend who is as much into Miracle Legion and Mulcahy as I am so we're always talking about something related to them. I just joined the forums recently and they do seem to be pretty much dead, it's too bad.

I'd be down to chat about his music, I try to log in every couple of weeks.

Hey! I forgot I posted this until about 5 minutes ago. Well, glad to see someone's checking in despite the mostly dead status of the forum. Thanks for responding man. Where are you hailing from? Any favorite albums/song that mean a lot to you?
