hi everyone out there,
just wanted to say, if you have the night free, you might want to go to the Fairfield Theatre show on friday night. i know that every MM gig is different in its own way, but this gig promises to be even more different, definitely unlike any other MM show that happened in 2006 -- and if the band rehearsals are any indication, it's going to be super-fun, too.
it is not a duo show. not that the duo shows haven't been different and super-fun! and i hope there'll be more of them in the new year. but friday's show will have its own certain something...well...why not come on out and see for yourself!
i think you're really going to like it.
and don't forget...when you show up to buy your ticket, say "hockey puck" (i think) and get something like $5 off the ticket price. |

Spoiler alert!
http://www.thezambonis.com
Friday, December 15
Zambonis, Mark Mulcahy (of Miracle Legion), Philistines jr, Big Fat Combo
A special holiday show with some of our favorite bands ever! Every Zamboni who was ever in the band will be rocking out. Also on the bill are Peter and Tarquin's (original Zambonis) band The Philistines jr. Then we've got The Big Fat Combo, the coolest band since DEVO 2.0. Last but absolutely not least one of our musical heroes/inspirations, Mark Mulcahy. Mark was the lead singer for a band called Miracle Legion. They were and are tremendous. His solo work is on par with the old stuff. Come see what Thom Yorke, lead singer of Radiohead, has called "the greatest voice he has ever heard." Also slated to make an appearance is Mr. Ray Neal, Mark's partner/guitarist in Miracle Legion. Be at this very special show or we will personally find you and kick your butt.
$17 admission
